THE ECHO LOCATOR

Certified Bureau of Applied Spatial Acoustics. Est. 2026. Every echo logged. Nothing about it is profound.

About the Bureau

The Bureau exists to formally certify the well-known but never-quantified phenomenon of a sound bouncing off a wall. Every click submitted to this page is treated as a genuine acoustic event, logged, and never questioned.

Reading Methodology

Each ping leaves the point of contact and travels outward as a perfect circle at a fixed, Bureau-approved speed. The instant it reaches a wall, a certified echo is recorded at that exact point. Rings cannot be aimed, slowed, or recalled once sent.

On the Profundity Index

The Acoustic Profundity Index rises with every echo recorded and approaches, but by policy never reaches, one hundred percent. The Bureau considers this appropriately humble for a device that measures nothing in particular.

On Certified Readings

Every reading is independently classified as either a profound exploration of spatial acoustics or, in the Bureau's own words, just a bouncy circle. Both classifications are issued with equal confidence, and neither has ever been appealed successfully.

Standing Policy

The Bureau offers no calibration certificate, no export function, and no explanation for how a soundwave travels in complete silence. It thanks you for your ping and reminds you that the next one will be measured with exactly the same rigor.
